Air quality index
What is the AQI air quality index?
The AQI The Air Quality Index (Air Quality Index) is a scale that indicates how clean or polluted the air is and what effects it can have on our health. The index measures the concentration of contaminants such as: Ozone (O₃), pfine particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), mcarbon dioxide (CO), Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and. Sulfur dioxide (SO₂)
Why does it matter?
When the AQI is high, breathing can be dangerousespecially for children, the elderly and people with lung or heart disease. Therefore, following air quality alerts helps to decide whether it is safe to exercise outdoors or to stay indoors.
Do you want me to turn it into an infographic for your networks or a module for your website with colors and levels as in the EP reports?
How is the AQI interpreted?
The AQI value ranges from 0 a 500. The higher the number, air quality is worse.
