This Privacy Policy explains how Poniente Media Group LLC ("we" or "us") processes data in the mobile application [Meteo Channel]..

1. Data we process

Depending on your choice, the location can be used only in the foreground and, if you allow it, in the background (e.g., for notifications of upcoming alerts).

  • Analytical: Aggregated or pseudonymized usage events to improve the app.

  • Advertising: If we integrate ad networks, they may use advertising identifiers and, with your consent, location signals to personalize/measure ads.

3. Permissions, Legal Basis and User Control

No we sell personal data. We may share data with suppliers that act as data processors(hosting, analytics, maps, push messaging) under contracts that limit their use to our instructions.

  • Map/radar services may receive your IP and requests to serve content.

5. Retention

The real-time location is processed in the form of ephemeral to return content and is not retained beyond what is necessary. Diagnostic records are kept for tight deadlines to resolve incidents.

6. Security

We apply reasonable measures (e.g., encryption in transitaccess controls) to protect the data.

7. Your options and rights

  • Revokes permissions (location, notifications) at Device settings.

  • You can request access or removal by writing to hola@canalmeteo.tv.

  • If you deactivate the location, some functions may not be available.

8. Minors

The app is not intended for children under 4 years of age.

9. International Transfers
